On Saturday December 7, 2013 CommunityGrows hosted the sixth annual Wreath Making event for the Western Addition neighborhood. The Hayes Valley Apartments Community Room was a buzz with activity as many folks came by to make wreaths for themselves and other residents. 
Our BEETS (Band of Environmentally Educated and Employable Teens) were on hand to serve up apple cider and cookies and help with the making of the wreaths. Residents and friends stopped by, including a group from Bloom Justice who were happy to participate. It was a very mellow afternoon and everyone made beautiful wreaths. It was a bevy of creativity.
