On Saturday, April 22, 2017 CommunityGrows celebrated Earth Day with students from International High School in Koshland Garden. It was a great day of weeding, pruning, planting and cleaning up the garden for the summer.
We were also happy to have two of our Advisory Board members Sarah Penney and Catheline Leung join us.
Paul Bergkamp led the crew through mulching the vegetable beds and composting. Great day to celebrate being outdoors and give thanks to the earth! Thank you International High School and Sarah and Catheline!
