We had a great turnout of gardeners for our May 8, 2012 meeting in Koshland Garden. Seasoned plot holders and new, mingled and got to know one another. After a tour of the garden and pointing out each others plots, garden protocols were discussed and there was sharing of herbs and vegetables. Some of the new gardeners had been waiting years for a plot, and were thrilled to finally be included. We are fortunate to have many interesting folks on board, including the chefs of State Bird Provisions on Fillmore Street, and a pie maker from Green Chili Kitchens. Our youngest garden plot holder that day was busy checking out the hose, and garden shed, and doing his share of the work!
