The Western Addition Beacon Center at John Muir Elementary School presented their 12th Annual Giving Voice to the Season Thanksgiving Luncheon on Saturday November 21, 2015. CommunityGrows staff and BEETS (Band of Environmentally Educated and Employable Teens) helped to make the day a success. Families and friends were greeted in the auditorium, transformed to beautiful room festooned with holiday cheer and tables set with decorations made by the youth. 
Lunch was served up with the help of the BEETS 
and everyone enjoyed the entertainment, supplied by Handful Players, the SGI-USA Golden Gate Chorus and others. 
Luminaries like Maysha Bell, Western Addition Beacon Director, London Breed, President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, and Shawn Mansager, Principal of John Muir Elementary School enjoyed the festivities as well.
